FRENCH TOAST RECIPE WRITTEN BY DEWI BRIGGS
Ever wanted to devour a french dish in under 20 minutes? Well you’ve come to the right place! Here’s a step by step guide to making french toast!
The key to making french toast is by grabbing one large cool refrigerated egg. This egg will produce protein and will thicken upon heating! First, you would like to beat the egg, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon in a bowl. Once done, you would like to add ¼ cup of milk which will settle the batter smoothly!
Grab 4 soft bread slices and dip them in the batter, remember to coat each side evenly! Once done, cook your bread lightly on a non-stick griddle or skillet on medium heat until golden/browned on both sides! You may cook each side from 15-20 seconds so they will look evenly colored. Furthermore, you may serve on a plate and make it presentable!
